ResearchILD and ILD are two interdependent components of the Institutes for Learning and Development, founded and directed by Dr. Lynn Meltzer and Dr. Bethany Roditi. Both Institutes are dedicated to helping ALL students to become successful learners by empowering them to learn how to learn through effective executive function and learning strategies.

The Research Institute for learning and Development (ResearchILD) is a non-for-profit educational and research organization. The mission of ResearchILD is to transform the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with learning difficulties including dyslexia, ADHA, and Executive Function problems. We help students to become strategic learners and to develop self-understanding, persistence and resilience, which are essential for academic and life success. To achieve this end, ResearchILD focuses on research, development of mentoring and leadership programs for organizations and schools, publications of books and software, professional development for teachers, and scholarship support.

The Institute for Learning and Development (ILD) is the clinical side of ILD/ResearchILD, dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults with learning, attention, executive function and behavioral difficulties, as well as gifted students. At ILD, we help each student develop his/her unique pathway to success.
