As the COVID pandemic shutdown has continued, ResearchILD has been working tirelessly to support the remote learning needs of students and teachers by providing user-friendly practical executive function strategies that can be implemented immediately to reduce stress and help students to succeed. We are excited about offering online PD workshops designed to train educators to teach hands-on strategies for promoting flexible thinking and problem-solving that are essential for remote learning. These strategies will reduce students’ stress and anxiety and empower them to master the remote learning space as they read, write, complete independent assignments, and work on projects, even in the earliest grades.

When you register for this training, you will receive:

  • The opportunity to learn from experts in the field of executive function and strategy instruction.

  • Two comprehensive lessons, curated from ResearchILD’s SMARTS Executive Function Curriculum, that you can use immediately with your students. Focused on executive function strategies for teaching cognitive flexibility in the context of reading and writing, you will receive access to lessons plans, activities, worksheets, reflection sheets, and PowerPoint presentations.

  • At the conclusion of each workshop, you will be equipped with actionable, concrete strategies to implement the next day to help your students complete online work assignments and long-term projects.
