Wendy Stacey, M.S.

Wendy is the Director of Reading at the Institute for Learning and Development in Lexington, MA. She holds her master’s degree in learning disabilities, is a certified special educator, and has been teaching for over 20 years. In her current position, she assesses and instructs students with language-based learning disabilities as well as provides consultation services with surrounding public and private schools. She has been a researcher with the Drive to Thrive and SMARTS projects, which involve designing, teaching strategies, and building leadership skills to students in the Boston Public Schools. She co-authored a language arts curriculum to meet both the Massachusetts standards and the needs for language based learning disabled students. She is also a contributing author to the recent publication, Promoting Executive Function in the Classroom.
